She nods, slow and grave. 'He mentioned that you were pleased to hear of it, and explained to me something of what he believed it might mean to you. France's history isn't my own, but do I understand the sentiment.'
Switzerland had indeed given her a brief summary of the period, enough for her to understand some more of the context that her personal experiences cannot cover. She is as curious about this young Frenchman and his time as she is concerned for his general welfare in the bar. Very few nations spring into being fully formed, as it were, like Athena born from Zeus, but Liechtenstein can trace her first clear memories only to somewhere in the decades around Enjolras' death. It is interesting, if a bit peculiar, to speak with someone from a time so near to the start of her own proper existence -- not as a part of the vanished Holy Roman Empire, or a vassal state of imperial France, or a fragment of the German-speaking noble houses of Europe, but as a nation with a people of her own.
'Would you mind if I joined you for a little while? I'd very much like to learn more of why his news interested you so greatly.' She is nothing if not an excellent listener.
