'That certainly hasn't changed in my time,' Liechtenstein says, pleased that she can share this much with him. 'Students are still active in political discussions, especially in France. If nothing else, I know that they still talk about whether the government is doing well, or what should be done to make it better, or how to encourage people to vote in elections.'
She hadn't missed his initial hesitation, however. 'I do understand if you don't wish to talk about your friends,' she adds, her voice softening in apology. 'I was only wondering how you came to support your cause, and found others who agreed with you. It isn't every student who believes in something so strongly, no matter where they're from. I know that my brother would greatly prefer it if more of his people felt the same way.'
